For cleaning and maintaining tennis courts, a Westermann WR870 Moss Brush would be the machine we recommend.
However, the most effective Brush option would depend on the tennis court surface:
-
Tarmac - WR870 Moss Brush with Wire Brush
- Either with Honda GCV170, Honda GXV160, or EGO Power+ Battery Motor
- As with any hard surfaces, a Wire Brush would be most suitable for moss clearance and cleaning tarmac
- For tarmac which isn't in great condition, a Poly/Wire Mix Brush, or a Poly Brush may be more suitable

-
Clay - WR870 Clay Tennis Brush
- Either with Honda GCV170 or Honda GXV160 engine
- Comes fitted with a Double Poly Brush as standard
- This clay-specific model features larger pneumatic tyres and a triple jockey wheel, which allows effective cleaning without the risk of damage to the court

-
Carpet Astro Turf - WR870 Moss Brush with Double Poly Brush
- A Wire Brush is too abrasive for synthetic surfaces. So for all carpet-style Astro Turfs, we would recommend a Double Poly Brush to clean your surface.
- A carpet-like Astro Turf is a short-pile synthetic grass, usually infilled with sand. Omnicourt is an example brand of carpet Astro Turf.
- Either with Honda GCV170, Honda GXV160, or EGO Power+ Battery Motor

-
Sand / Rubber Crumb Filled Astro Turf - WR870 Moss Brush with Astro Turf Power Brush
- For effective cleaning of sand or crumb-based surfaces with a thicker pile, our specially-designed Astro Turf Power Brush would be the suitable brush option. It rejuvenates and cleans artificial sports pitches, such as the Rubber Crumb in 3G pitches, or the sand in Sand Based/Dressed Astro Turf pitches (MUGA's). Pitch sections of heavy use and wear can be quickly rejuvenated after each game.
- The Westermann Astro Turf Power Brush WR870 is the machine complete with Astro Brush
- Alternatively, the Astro Turf Power Brush Head can be purchased separately, and retrofitted to your existing WR870 Moss Brush
