Darren Walters from Rain-or-Shine Garden & Grounds posted these great before-and-after photos on his Facebook page, so we got in touch to find out his Westermann story.
“Rain-or-Shine Garden & Grounds was founded in 2009 by myself after getting made redundant. All I had was an electric strimmer and an electric mower and a determination to succeed. We now have 4 vehicles, a team of excellent staff and too many lawn mowers to admit to! We have been keeping gardens & grounds neat and tidy since day one. We operate on a professional footing and our creativity in the garden is matched by business sense founded on good value and reliability. Our customers regularly recommend us to their friends, business colleagues and neighbours. They know they can trust us to turn up on time and deliver a quality service with a friendly, helpful approach.
During the winter months we offer additional services to our existing domestic and commercial customers and often pick up new customers as a result of the additional works.
One of those extra services is the cleaning of hard surfaces and for this we use a Westermann WR870 Moss Brush.
One recent job that we have carried out was a very heavy moss removal on a driveway and two paths. This was a concern to the customer as it was very slippery at times. The tarmac surface below the moss was old and in poor condition but the Westermann did a great job without causing any additional damage. The customer was over the moon with the results.
We have also used the Westermann on fire escape routes which are often forgotten about but obviously vitally important that they are safe to use in an emergency.
