For re-edging overgrown paths (such as on tarmac or block paving), you will need either a Weed Ripper pedestrian machine, or a Ride-On Path Re-Edger, either of which will allow you to quickly clear overgrowth.
Our recommended machines for path re-edging are:
-
Westermann WKB660 Weed Ripper
- Either the Honda GXV160, or EGO Power+ Battery Motor
- This model is intended for contractors, and had a 66cm working width. The guard flap raises for re-edging.

-
Westermann WKB430 Weed Ripper
- Either the Honda GCV170, Honda GXV160, or EGO Power+ Battery Motor
- This model is suitable for contractors and domestic users - it has a 43cm working width, so it is narrower, lighter in weight than the WKB660. The guard flap raises for re-edging.

-
Westermann WKB330 Weed Ripper
- Either the Loncin Petrol Engine, or Zomax Battery Motor
- This model has a 33cm working width, so it is the smallest of the Weed Rippers, and is intended for domestic users. The guard flap raises for re-edging.

-
Westermann CM2 PRO Ride On. Extras required for path re-edging:
- Hydraulics
- Either the Honda GXV390, or Loncin 2-Cylinder engine
- Oil Cooler
- Path Re-Edger Attachment
